Hello world wide web. Here is my first attempt at creating a blog. I have friends that are bloggers and have finally decided to give this a shot.
Tonight I sit in my house smashing ants that periodically show up on the wall with my index finger. It is quite strange because there doesn't appear to be any sort of pattern about where they are coming from or where they are going. And they only appear one at a time. Nasty little ants! They're after something, I'm sure. One by one I'll take them down until there are none left. And they will wonder, back at the colony, why all their poor little scout ants never come back. That's right... my index finger is why.
It is always fun to find the insect of the day around here. Sometimes it is a little beetle scurrying for some darkness. Other times a a gargentuan Wolf Spider makes itself known. Once there appeared a cockroach. That one was pretty nasty. I had to wipe up the splatter off the floor and file cabinet after I dropped one of my steel-toed boots on it from 3 feet up. It was an interesting spray pattern too. Sorry I didn't get a picture of it now.
Anyway, I hope to keep this updated as often as I can find the time.
