I feel like I keep giving only glimpses of my life here on my blog. There is so much more to the picture than the few entries I make here and there. I have tidbits of information that I know I need to share with the world, things that are important in my life, and I either choose not to take the time to post or don't have the energy to give to writing it that I would like. So this is my quick and nasty. What I can do to catch you up on what has been happening with me the past few weeks.
A couple days after we got back from our vacation to Boise I made Airman First Class (A1C). So now instead of carrying around little mesquite wings on my shoulders I have little dragonfly wings. It's a small thing but it makes a difference both at work and on the paycheck. Every little bit counts.
A week after that Jade got me a little 7 week old miniature dachshund puppy for Father's Day. Elijah named him "T-Rex" from minute one and the name has stuck. We call him Rex. He's quite the cutie. (pictures to follow... some day)
We had a meeting with The Greg(g) Pastors after my little rant... and I am happy for grace and rational responses. Something I wish I had more of myself sometimes. We really worked things out and announced the discipleship group to the church and had several people sign up and someone even volunteered their house for the rest of the summer. We are going to have our discipleship group on Fridays and the first one is July 11th. We are both bummed that Jade will be in Boise for the first few meetings, but it is something that we didn't want to wait on starting up. We'll keep you posted on that.
Aurora's diagnosis just keeps getting longer and longer. Our doctor recently said she will need to be in braces until she stops growing. Which, depending on when puberty starts, or stops rather, could be as long as 10 more years. We are getting an MRI done so that we can know for certain where the damage in her brain is at. Again, it was scheduled while she is going to be in Boise so we have to get that rescheduled. Anyway, they are going to take the MRI and do a "psychological profile" (or something like that) so that we can know her developmental weaknesses and where we are going to need to work on more closely. It is a really good clinic that does the work and I guess people come from all over the world to have this "procedure" done, so there is a long waiting list.
So I think you are all updated now. Oh, I almost forgot... we got Lego Indiana Jones for the Wii. It is much more of a brain teaser than Lego Star Wars was, makes you think a little harder. And Rock Band came out for the Wii today. We can't afford to buy it but I am accepting donations. Make checks payable to Mark Hans and send them to:

Thanks! Love to all!
